10:10 AM

I am honored.  A thank you to Holly from  Holly Michael’s Writing Straight  for the Reader’s Appreciation Award.  For those who enjoy the inspiration from great photography a visit to her blog is a must.

The rules for this award are: Post seven interesting things about yourself, Nominate 5 people who in turn will post on their page the award with the link to the giver, Let them know about the nomination. Thank the blogger who nominated you and link back to their blog.

Instead of seven things about myself, here’s seven of my favorite musical statements, which should tell something about me. ( Borrowing this from you, Holly.)

1.  I have personalized this verse:

I delight in the law of the Lord

and in this law I meditate day and night

I am like the tree planted by streams of water

it yields fruit in season, its leaf does not wither

all that I do will prosper.

2. Oh God,  You are my God

And I will ever praise You

Oh God, You are my God

And I will ever praise You

I will seek You in the morning

And I will learn to walk in Your ways

And step by step You’ll lead me

And I will follow You all of my days  – Rich Mullens

3. When I am down and, oh my  soul, so weary;

When troubles come and my heart burdened be;

Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,

Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains;

You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas;

I am strong, when I am on your shoulders;

You raise me up: To more than I can be. – Selah

4. Kyrie Eleison, Lord God Have Mercy

Have mercy on me o God in your goodness

Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin

Restore to me the joy of your salvation

Christe Eleison Christ have Mercy – ?  I have it done by Integrity Worship Singers and could not find it online.

5.  At the foot of the cross

Where grace and suffering meet

You have shown me Your love

Through the judgment You received

And You’ve won my heart

Yes You’ve won my heart

Now I can

Trade these ashes in for beauty

And wear forgiveness like a crown

Coming to kiss the feet of mercy

I lay every burden down

At the foot of the cross

At the foot of the cross

Where I am made complete

You have given me life

Through the death You bore for me

I’m laying every burden down

I’m laying every burden down – Kathryn Scott

6.  He hath shown  thee

Oh man

What is good and what the Lord requires of thee

But to do justly

And to love mercy

And to walk humbly with thy God. — Maranatha Singers, Micah 6:8

7.  Open the eyes of my heart Lord,

Open the eyes of my heart,

I want to see You. I want to see You.

To see You high and lifted up,

Shining in the light of Your glory.

Pour out Your power and love,

As we sing holy, holy, holy.

Holy, holy holy. Holy, holy, holy.

Holy, holy, holy, I want to see You. – Paul Baloche
